On September 20th team will compete for the best BBQ Ribs at the 2nd Annual Benefit BBQ Competition, Smoke-A-Palooza 2008.  The event was held at New Covenant Church in St. Peters, Missouri.  The contest is open to all BBQ teams this year.  All proceeds to benefit the poor and homeless locally and internationally through Living Hope International, a local 501(c)(3) organization serving in St. Louis, St. Charles, India and Africa. Teams will compete for the Smoke-A-Palooza 1st Place Grand Champion Trophy. There will be food for sale to the public from an official Smoke-A-Palooza vendor. There will be live music, along with food and drink during the event. Food will be for sale 12:00 pm and the event went into the early evening. 

We had 10 BBQ teams registered and competed for cash and prizes last year and we hope to have more this year. Check out whose competed last year.
